06/26/2005: A new version of the website goes online. Previously, the content of this website had been identical to my pages at the Chair of Statistics and Econometrics at the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg. The re-launch of the homepage of the Chair as well as my temporary relocation to the US prompted me to restructre my website - and to freshen up its design.

09/26/2005: During my last visit back in Germany, I was able to scan some of the pictures I had taken on various trips. They can now be found at Personal--Pictures. I will expand this collection as soon as I will have access to my photo album...

01/25/2006: To the section Personal--Pictures, I have added a number of pictures taken in Chile and Argentina back in 1997.
